In order to turn off the radio, it is not enough just to stop paying for it. Unlike electricity or a telephone, no one will turn off the radio "for non-payment" - the disconnection is made only upon the personal statement of the owner.
Step 2
First of all, you need to contact the office of the city radio broadcasting network, where you will receive an application form for turning off the radio, as well as a receipt form (the work of an electrician who "chops off" your radio is paid). Payment for shutdown work can be made at any bank or post office, but it is best to do this at Sberbank - it is the only one that will not charge you a commission.
Step 3
Also, you will have to visit the Unified Settlement Center or ZhSK and get a certificate of the absence of debt for a radio point (and, if necessary, pay all debts).
Step 4
After that, you can apply for a disconnection. The package of documents required for this is as follows: the application itself, a certificate of absence of debt, a paid receipt and your passport. The radio network staff will accept your application and name the day on which the fitter will come to you.
Step 5
Having done all the necessary work, the fitter will give you a notice of disconnecting your apartment from wired radio broadcasting, which you will need to present to the settlement center or housing cooperative. Only after that you will no longer be charged a subscription fee for using the radio.
