Death always comes unexpectedly, taking people close to you. If grief has struck your family, it is necessary not only to come to terms with the loss, but also to adequately accompany your loved one on the last journey.
Instructions
Step 1
If your relatives died at home, you will need to call two teams at once: the police and the ambulance. After they have examined the body, you will receive a death form in your hands. Next, you need to call the corpse transportation service, which will take the body to the morgue along with a document signed by doctors and police. At the same time, the employees of this service will have to give you a referral, with the help of which you can get an outpatient card of the deceased in the hospital. With the card, you need to go to the morgue in order to issue a medical death certificate, with which you can issue a stamp certificate and a corresponding certificate at the registry office. After all this, you can contact the funeral service and order the appropriate services.
Step 2
If a person died not at home, but, for example, at a dacha, you will need to contact an ambulance and the police of the area in which it happened to ascertain the death. After receiving the necessary documents, you need to issue a medical death certificate in the morgue where the body was delivered, while you will need to present your passport and the passport of the deceased. The medical certificate will serve as the basis for the issuance of a stamp document and a corresponding certificate. With these documents, you will be able to organize the transportation of the body of the deceased to the morgue at the place of residence. Only then can you contact the agents of the funeral service and arrange for the funeral.
Step 3
In the event that a person close to you dies in the hospital, you will be notified by the nurse or the attending physician. They are also obliged to provide a telephone number, by which you can specify in which morgue the deceased is located. You will also be required to tell you how to issue a medical and stamp certificate, as well as a death certificate. The body of the deceased will remain in the hospital morgue until it is taken to the city morgue or immediately to the burial place. You can agree on a specific date of transportation with the morgue staff, and then contact the ritual and funeral service.
Step 4
When death occurs in a public place (and also if the death was violent), the body is sent to the forensic morgue. Police officers conduct a check on the fact of death, on the basis of which they can issue an order to initiate a criminal case or do without it. You can find the deceased person with the help of the police, its employees will provide you with information about forensic morgues that you need to visit to identify the body and obtain the necessary documents. In order to obtain the documents necessary for the burial of the deceased, you will first need to obtain a permit from the law enforcement agency, which conducted an inspection on the fact of the death of your relative.
Step 5
If a person dies abroad, you will need to notify the Russian consulate about this, which will take over the transportation of the body to your homeland. You will have to reimburse all transportation costs to the consulate, only after that you will be able to obtain a death certificate from the registry office.
