A person is drawn to the unknown, the mysterious, the unknown. The other side of the moon can be considered one of these mysteries. A unique phenomenon in the solar system - the terrestrial observer sees only one and at a certain time "piece" of the other side of the only natural satellite of the Earth.
Instructions
Step 1
The phenomenon, which many consider mysterious (why only one lunar hemisphere is visible from the Earth), is understandable. This is due to the synchronization of the earth and lunar orbital periods. Perhaps the Moon once revolved around the Earth differently. But as a result of interactions over millions of years, gravity has had a significant impact on the orbital period of its satellite. Thus, it turned out that the Moon makes a complete revolution around its axis in the same time as around the Earth.
Step 2
The phrase "dark side of the moon" is used not literally, but figuratively. "Dark" is invisible, but this does not mean that sunlight does not fall on it. Both sides are illuminated by the Sun evenly, each has sunrise and sunset, morning and evening, like any other natural space object.
Step 3
In 1969, an American lunar module with astronauts on board, launched into the lunar orbit by the Apollo 11 apparatus, landed in the Sea of Tranquility. This place is on the "bright" side, the remaining 5 missions were sent to other regions of the natural satellite of the Earth. In 1972, flights to the moon abruptly stopped, the lunar space program was curtailed and was no longer resumed by either the American or the Soviet side.
Step 4
This, and much more gave rise to speculation, assumptions and conjectures that there are alien bases on the other side of the moon. Allegedly, the astronauts encountered an extraterrestrial civilization, which so far wishes to remain "in the shadows." This version is fueled by interviews with some astronauts and former NASA members. In them, highly respected people claim that in 1972 there was contact with alien intelligence on the moon, which ended tragically for the American crew, and that is why manned flights to this area stopped.
Step 5
Some satellite photos of the lunar surface are presented to the world community for consideration. Certain "buildings", "towers", "entrances to sublunary bunkers" are clearly visible on them. It seems that the moon is simply crammed with alien bases disguised as craters, hollows, mountains and rocks.
Step 6
An interesting version is presented in the films Apollo 18, Transformers: The Dark Side of the Moon and Iron Sky. Perhaps this is the exuberant fantasy of the writers and directors of fantastic action games, and the preparation of earthlings to the idea of an inevitable and not always friendly neighborhood. In any case, the common man sees only "seas", craters, a naked and lifeless landscape.
