For real tourists, bad weather is not a hindrance on a hike. But I still want the tent to be warm, especially in the cold season. The most efficient way to heat your tent is with special devices. These include portable collapsible stoves, as well as special gasoline and gas heaters.

Instructions

Step 1

Use stove stoves to heat large army tents. Pay particular attention to fire safety measures for gas and petrol heaters. In particular, remember that these appliances consume a lot of oxygen during operation, and therefore must provide a supply of fresh air, otherwise it will be difficult to breathe.

Step 2

If for some reason you did not have heating devices at hand, then you can use a proven folk heating tool - very heated stones stacked in a pot or other container.

Step 3

However, in order to keep the heat better, the tent must be insulated. A good example is a three-person automatic insulated tent for winter fishing of the "umbrella" type. It uses duralumin tubular frames with a folding mechanism that allows it to unfold like an umbrella in just 15 seconds. The tent cover, the floor and the skirt of the tent are made of waterproof Oxford fabric, the inner layer of the tent is made of 190 Taffett nylon.

Step 4

An additional element of insulation is, of course, a sleeping bag - do not neglect it. Sleeping bags use two types of insulation - natural and synthetic. Duck or goose down is natural. These sleeping bags are very light and perfectly retain heat, which is very important in severe frosts. Sleeping bags with synthetic fillers use holofiber, kvallofil, thermolight and polargard. These materials are not sensitive to moisture, dry quickly when wet, but in terms of thermal insulation they are much inferior to natural insulation.

Step 5

Today in specialized stores you can find a wide variety of portable tent heaters. Most experienced tourists prefer the safest gas heaters with a disposable gas cylinder, piezo ignition and ceramic thermal emitter. Such heaters are highly efficient, consuming only 100 grams of gas mixture per hour. Heater power over 1 kW and weight up to one and a half kilograms.
