Step 1

There are five tolerance groups in total. Usually, the training and assignment of groups to electrical and electrical personnel is carried out by the person responsible for the electrical equipment of the enterprise, and his representatives in the divisions. Employees are required to pass a knowledge test of PTE and PTB once a year. Based on the results of the check, he is assigned an admission group and a certificate is issued. To get the first group, you do not need to attend these courses - it is enough to listen to the initial instruction on safety in the workplace. Step 2

To obtain the second group, employees without secondary education who have not completed special training need to work at the enterprise for at least two months. Graduates of universities, technical schools and trainees, this group can be assigned immediately. To obtain admission you need: - to be instructed on;

- have a general technical understanding of the operation of electrical installations;

- know the basic safety measures for their operation and be able to provide first aid to victims of electric current. This group is assigned to workers who could theoretically be defeated - mainly technical personnel and office workers who sometimes have to enter electrical rooms.

Step 3

Workers with the III group of admission have the right to single-handedly work in electrical installations with voltage up to 1000 V. Accordingly, they are presented with rather serious requirements: - to know the device of an electrical installation and be able to maintain it;

- clearly represent the dangers of working in it;

- know the rules of admission to work in such electrical installations;

- be able to supervise workers;

- be able to provide first aid to victims of electric shock.

Step 4

Workers assigned to group IV must fully understand the electrical installation in order to check the need for safety measures. You need to: - fully know the safety rules when working in electrical installations up to 1000V;

- be able to organize the safe conduct of work and supervision over them;

- know the connection diagrams and equipment of your site;

- be able to provide first aid and teach this to other workers.

Step 5

The highest requirements are imposed on workers applying for admission group V. You need to: - know the schemes and equipment of your site;

- know PTE and PTB, as well as clearly understand what explains the requirements of all points of these rules;

- be able to organize the safe conduct of work and supervise them in electrical installations of any voltage;

- be able to provide first aid yourself and teach this to other workers.

Step 6

If you move to another job with similar equipment and process conditions, you do not need to get a permit again. However, in the event of a break in work for more than 6 months, you will have to confirm your knowledge of electrical safety in order to obtain admission. Employees with any group who have expired their IDs or did not pass the knowledge test are considered to have group I.
