Pink paint is needed both for children's drawings and for repair work. But not everyone knows how to get different shades of pink. In some cases, you need to mix two paints, in others three or more. Therefore, the main way to get pink paint is by experiment.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to get pink for painting is to mix two colors: red and white. In order to get the color you want, dilute the red paint with water so that it is not as saturated. Then add a little white to these diluted red pigments. The lightness of the tone and the saturation of the resulting color depend on their number.
Step 2
If you want to get a pink-purple color, for example, in order to draw lilacs, combine manganese and cobalt. This also needs to be done very carefully and literally in a few drops. After all, if you overdo it with one of the components, then it will take a very long time to correct the error and achieve the desired shade.
Step 3
You can also get a pink color by mixing raspberry paint with white, cherry, again, with white. In each case, you get your own shade - brighter or less saturated. The color of lilac can also be obtained by mixing three shades: blue, red and white.
Step 4
If you want to get a pink color with a shade of peach, then start the experiment with counting drops. To do this, take the former base and slowly add red, yellow and brown in small drops. Dose the amount carefully and write down carefully. After you drop a little color paint, mix the total mass and evaluate the resulting shade. Brown color should be added especially carefully. After you achieve the desired color in the mixing container, check the resulting shade on paper or wallpaper. Paint it and check for light. If the resulting shade does not suit you and bears little resemblance to pink, correct it by adding white. And then again add literally a drop of red and yellow.
Step 5
If you want to understand why you like pink, learn its psychology. As a rule, creative natures choose this color. But mostly it is considered a feminine color.
