Freedom has always been the highest value of society, serving as the most important characteristic both for all mankind and for each individual. At all times, special attention was paid to the issues of individual freedom.
Freedom of the individual
Over the centuries, people, especially philosophers, have built many theories about what freedom is. However, one thing was clear to each of them: freedom is one of the highest values of man. One of the grounds that allow us to make such a conclusion is the deepening into the beginning of human existence. In creating man, God endowed him with free will. Unfortunately, the first human couple did not use it for the benefit of themselves and others. Every person today has the right to choose. But, if he does not realize how important this quality is and what responsibility it places on him, he will not be able to understand the full value of freedom, which consists in the ability to do everything that cannot harm others. This is the only limitation that makes freedom even more significant, since there have always been and remain a lot of opportunities to do only positive deeds.
Yes, a person can decide for himself what to do, how and with what motives. There are always people who can advise and suggest which decision to make the best, but they cannot force you to do something. This again shows the power of freedom.
The right to a normal habitat and life
Each person has the right to life, the quality of which, again, depends on herself. No one can decide for another person how long and how he will live. This is logical, since it was said above that freedom lies in deeds that cannot harm other persons.
This includes the right to a normal living environment. Anyone deserves to eat right, sleep well and have a job that is enjoyable and at the same time allows him to provide for himself and his family. In this, the value of freedom is also felt strongly.
Socio-economic rights
Legal freedom is based on the right to choose, which also exists in the other types of freedom discussed earlier. At the same time, freedom is both the very fact of choice and its unpredictability. It should be understood that the more choice a person has, the more freedom he has. In this regard, we can conclude that freedom does not have clear boundaries, in which its value is also felt.
Despite this, it is important for socio-economic rights that a person clearly understands the measure of freedom, which carries with it not only positive consequences, but also negative results. Therefore, the state and civil society use legal means as those that designate limits and boundaries, but at the same time leave a person with a wide choice, since they also recognize that freedom is one of the highest values of a person.
