Myakinino is the first station of the Moscow metro, built outside the administrative border of Moscow. This metro station is located on the territory of the Myakinina Poima near the Crocus Expo exhibition center, and on the opposite side of the Moskva River there is a large residential area of Krasnogorsk.

Initially, they were going to build a pedestrian bridge in this place. Then the inhabitants of Pavshinskaya floodplain could easily get to the Myakinino metro station. But the bridge has not yet been built, and the bypass route takes a long time. Residents of the new building have to travel more than 17 km, crossing the Moskva River on a minibus along the Volokolamskoe Highway and the Moscow Ring Road. Therefore, river transport in the area of the Myakinino metro station is an urgent need.

On June 19, 2012, at the initiative of the Capital Shipping Company, a river crossing from Pavshina floodplain of the city of Krasnogorsk to the Myakinino metro station began to operate.

The Moskvich ship, capable of taking on board up to 100 people, runs between 2 pontoon berths. One of them is located on the Crocus Expo side, and the other is located on the Pavshina floodplain. The ferry operates from 7 am to 1 am, the time of the Moskvich motor ship en route is about 10 minutes one way. The frequency of flights depends on the availability of those wishing to use the water route taxi.

Now, in order to cross from one bank to the other, you need to go to the pier, wait for the ship to leave and buy a ticket for it. It costs 30 rubles. In the future, they plan to introduce preferential travel tickets for water transport, but so far this has not been done. The ferry will operate until the end of navigation, i.e. until October 2012. The organized water route from the new building to the Myakinino metro station is part of a social program to improve the transportation of Krasnogorsk residents.
