Keep in mind that each variety requires a different amount of water when watered. For example, those chrysanthemums with large and soft leaves evaporate much more moisture than varieties with hard and small leaves. Limit watering when your chrysanthemum is blooming. Leave the soil dry more often to extend the flowering period. When the budding period begins and the growth of leaves stops, the plants become less demanding on the presence of moisture.
