Many of us, especially women, want to reduce our age by several years. Thus, we want to postpone old age. But, alas, even if you always watch your appearance, the date of birth in your passport will give you away.
Legal ways to change your date of birth
To begin with, there are always two sides of the same coin and nothing is impossible. But in the matter of changing the date of birth, there are quite a few legal options. In order to change your date of birth, you need strong enough evidence that you are right.
Unfortunately, you cannot change the year of birth simply because you want to. There are only a few reasons why the FMS authorities can do this. These reasons include the adoption of a child under one year old. According to Article No. 135 "Change of the date and place of birth of an adopted child", it follows that "to ensure the secrecy of the adoption of a child, at the request of the adoptive parent, the date of birth of the adopted child, but not more than three months, as well as his place of birth, can be changed."
Also, such reasons include the witness protection program, when the date of birth is changed as a compulsory measure.
And the last reason may be an error of the registry office or the Federal Migration Service. I must say that if such an error did occur, you will need to collect a huge list of documents and witnesses to confirm this.
As you can see, all the reasons are quite weighty and by your desire alone, you are unlikely to be able to achieve something.
Responsibility for forging documents
It should be remembered that if you decide on your own to change the year of birth or date, then you can be prosecuted under the article of the Criminal Code - "Forgery, production or sale of forged documents." In addition, such a change would lead to a number of inconsistencies and would be too easy to test. There are many other documents, thanks to which, you can find out your true age. If you, in any way, change the date there, then it is worth remembering that there is another source in which you will hardly be able to change all information about yourself - the Unified database of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation.
One of your whims can turn into "restraint of liberty for up to three years, or arrest for a period of four to six months, or imprisonment for up to two years," according to Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Of course, in such matters, professionals in their field can help you, namely, people who are engaged in forging documents. But, to your happiness, or chagrin, they do not advertise this type of activity very much. In addition, if you still manage to find those, then the amount of your costs may exceed hundreds of thousands of rubles. After that, the question arises: "Is it worth it?"
