One of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the world, Moscow has undergone significant evolution and over time has become a super-modern and high-tech metropolis with its fashionable residential areas, shopping and business centers. Like any city of this level, Moscow is the proud owner of magnificent multi-storey buildings that inspire respect, better known as skyscrapers. It is customary to single out a dozen buildings that stand out in their height characteristics, exceeding 200 meters. State University
The very first Moscow skyscraper can rightfully be considered the building of the Moscow State University, built in the 53rd year, its height exceeds 240 meters, which at that time was a grandiose achievement of the construction industry.
From Triumph Palace to Moscow City
In 2003, the leadership was seized by the "Triumph-Palace" built at that time, which after some 10 years faded into the background and was eclipsed by new, more grandiose houses and towers, which include the Imrera Tower and the West Tower, which are part of the whole office complex "Moscow-City", with more than 60 floors and a height of more than 240 meters. In the very heart of the capital there is a residential building, which, thanks to its spire, has come to be considered one of the tallest in Europe. This is "Triumph-Palace", included in the Guinness Book of Records for its unique characteristic of 264 meters.
Mercury
On the territory of Moscow City today there is the tallest skyscraper in the eastern part of Eurasia, called "Mercury", the height of this building, designed jointly with American colleagues, is more than 330 meters, on the territory of which there are not only office but also residential premises. Other powerful objects of modern Moscow architecture can be confidently attributed to the Eurasia skyscraper 309 meters high, the Moscow tower with 76 floors, the St. Petersburg tower, which, like its predecessor, is part of a system called The city of capitals ".
