The refrigerator belongs to the category of technically complex household products. If you want to return it to the store, you must consider the requirements for returning this category of goods. According to the law, if any defects are found, you have the right to terminate the sales contract and receive the amount paid for the product, or demand its replacement.
Instructions
Step 1
In the event that the refrigerator was purchased by you in an online store or from a catalog, i.e. remotely, you have the right to return it to the seller within 7 days after it was delivered to you. The point is that, when concluding a sales contract, you could not see your copy. In this case, no excuse for returning is required - the refrigerator simply did not suit you, even if you have no complaints about the quality of its work.
Step 2
Within two weeks after the purchase and payment of the full cost of the goods, you can return the refrigerator if you find any defects. Article 18 of the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights provides for the replacement of goods with another similar brand and quality, or refusal and termination of the sales contract with the subsequent return of the money paid.
Step 3
It will be more difficult to return the refrigerator if its deficiencies were identified after it was purchased, and more than 14 days have passed since that moment. In the event that the warranty period for it has not yet expired, you can return the refrigerator to the store only in three cases: if the defect is significant, the deadlines for eliminating the deficiencies have been violated, or the total warranty period has exceeded 30 days within one year.
Step 4
You can also return the refrigerator purchased on credit to the store in the cases listed above. If you demand a refund, the seller is obliged to transfer the funds already paid by you under the loan agreement to the account specified by you in the application. The store is obliged to transfer the balance of funds to the bank with which the loan agreement was concluded. The amount that you spent on the execution of this contract must also be refunded to you by the seller.
