When buying large household appliances, you need to be very careful. It is recommended to check the device's performance in advance and evaluate its appearance. This will save not only time, but also money in the event that you still decide to return the goods to the seller.

Documents for the refrigerator
Instructions
Step 1
Refrigerators, like many other large household appliances, are technically sophisticated. This means that they are not covered by some legal acts related to the return of goods. First, make sure you have the necessary documentation: sales receipt, warranty card, and so on.
Step 2
In the event of a malfunction, you have two options: contact a store or service center. Given the dimensions and weight of the refrigerator, the seller is obliged to pick it up from you and deliver it to the SC for free. The problem is that the company is not obliged to pick up the goods instantly. If you do not want to wait for several days, then take the refrigerator yourself to the service center.
Step 3
After checking the device, you should be given a conclusion that the refrigerator cannot be repaired. Contact the store with this conclusion and demand to return the money paid for the product, or exchange it for a similar model.
Step 4
If the goods are subject to repair, the seller has the right to refuse you a refund. The exception is the situation when the repair time is much delayed. If the refrigerator is in the service center for more than thirty days, then you can request a replacement or a refund.
Step 5
If you purchased the refrigerator remotely, for example, used the services of an online store, then you have the right to return the goods within seven days from the date of receipt. Remember that this rule only works if you have not seen a specific copy of the product before registering the deal. If you purchased a refrigerator in the online store of an organization located in your city, and checked its performance before paying, then you will not be able to return it within a week.
