The most important thing that distinguishes one person from another is his life position. One person completely succumbs to circumstances, the other tries to wrap them up to his advantage. Someone considers himself an observer and does not interfere in other people's problems until it touches him. How to determine your position in life?
Instructions
Step 1
Think about how often you think about the past or dream about the future. There is nothing wrong with memories or dreams. But if you constantly look back at the past or everyone is waiting for the world to finally become supportive of you and you will succeed - this is a passive life position. Think, you would like everything to be decided for you, and nothing depended on you at all, but at the same time you would be completely protected.
Step 2
Determine how you feel about other people. Forget for a while the maxim: "People treat you the same way you treat them." There are no strict definitions in the world either in this or in any other sense. The main thing here is what guides you in interacting with people. If you are accustomed to achieving your goal at all costs, manipulating the actions or consciousness of others, then you have an aggressive life position. The fact that because of this you are constantly on the platoon, or, conversely, remain icy calm no matter what happens, only confirms this.
Step 3
Find out what could prevent you from taking responsibility in a difficult situation. Lack of knowledge, material opportunities, experience (which is difficult to achieve, but fixable) or the fear that all your efforts will still go to waste, no matter what you do? If this fear stops you, then over time you will begin to close more and more not only from difficulties, but also from the bright moments of life. The position of the observer is the position of the gudgeon from the fairy tale of M. Ye. Saltykov-Shchedrin ("whatever happens"). Try to become more confident in yourself: the world is not as scary as it sometimes seems. And what you didn’t manage to do once will definitely work out the next, if you don’t dwell on failures.
Step 4
If you only listen to the opinions of other people, but try to follow their advice only when it meets mutual interests, then you have an active life position. You can equally be a follower and a leader, but you always make the right choice, guided by the interests of other people. Do not try to imitate anyone, and you will succeed.
