Instructions

Step 1

To determine the size of the helmet-mask GP-5, RSh-4, PBF, PMG, GP-5, use one of the proposed methods. The first method involves two measurements of the head. Take a measuring tape. Place the beginning of the tape at the temporal part of the head and guide it along the closed line that goes through the crown of the head.

Step 2

Having connected the free end of the tape with its beginning, continue the measurement by lowering the tape from the temporal part along the cheek to the chin and pull the tape up to the second temple. This will give you the first result to remember. The second result can be obtained by taking a measurement along the line that connects the ear holes in a circle and passes through the brow ridges.

Step 3

Add up the results of both measurements, and determine the size of the gas mask according to the specified data. If the result is less than 92 cm - size 0; from 92 to 95, 5 - size 1; from 95, 5 to 99 - size 2; from 99 to 102, 5 - size 3; more than 102, 5 - size 4.

Step 4

The second method involves measuring the head only along a closed line that passes through the crown, cheeks and chin. Determine the size of the gas mask according to the specified data. If the result is less than 63.5 cm - size 0; from 63.5 to 65.5 - size 1; from 66, 0 to 68, 0 - size 2; from 68.5 to 70.5 - size 3; over 71, 0 - size 4.

Step 5

For the PMK and GP-7 gas masks, which are additionally equipped with adjustable elastic bands at the back, there are three sizes of the front part. To determine the size, measure the horizontal head circumference at forehead level with a tape measure. The same method is used when determining the size of the head when buying hats and other hats.

Step 6

Determine the size of the gas mask according to the specified data. If the result is less than 56 cm - size 1; from 56 to 60 - size 2; over 60 - size 3.
