When buying shoes, you should be especially careful, because not only the appearance of your feet, but also their health, largely depends on the chosen model. Having made a mistake in the model, you can try to return it to the store, since the law in this case is on the side of the buyers. But here, too, there are some nuances.
Instructions
Step 1
The Consumer Protection Law allows you to return purchased shoes to the store if they do not fit in size, color, shape, style, or simply do not like it. But this is only possible if no more than two weeks have passed since the purchase was made. In addition, the footwear must fully retain the presentation, packaging and price tags. Otherwise, the store has every right to refuse you a refund for such a product or its exchange.
Step 2
If you find that the purchased boots have torn or started leaking before the end of the warranty period, do not despair. In this case, the law also allows you to take them back to the store. The main thing is to take a close look at the number of expired warranty days. It should be remembered that the warranty for winter boots does not begin from the moment of your purchase, which can be completed in the summer, but from the moment of the onset of the winter season. Since in all places in our country it begins in due time, the moment of its occurrence can be found in the local department for consumer protection.
Step 3
To return winter boots for this reason, make a statement in which you ask to pay you money or exchange low-quality shoes for another. Take the boots along with the application to the store and give them to the administrator. In this case, you need to be able to prove that the boots were purchased in this particular store. You can show the receipt or invite a witness to the purchase.
Step 4
After that, the store has the right to send the shoes for examination, which will prove or, conversely, refute a manufacturing defect. In the first case, the store will be obliged to go to your meeting and take back the low-quality goods. After that, you are required to return the money within 10 days. If the store does not wish to accept the defective shoes back, please contact the consumer protection service.
