Fire is necessary for man in the forest. If you have a fire lit, you can always dry your clothes, cook food, and keep warm. Therefore, in the backpack of every real tourist, in a secret flap, there is always a box of matches wrapped in a waterproof bag and dry paper. However, fire can be obtained in several other ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a place where a fire will be made. It should be closed from the wind. It is best to put together something like a hearth out of stones, blocking the site on three sides where the firewood will burn. Put dry paper down, on top of it, fold dry pine needles, thin dry twigs with a house. Place thicker sticks and logs nearby so that you can immediately put them on the fire when it flares up. If the wind is strong, the kindling material can be stacked between two logs.
Step 2
The easiest way is to use matches. Sit on the leeward side, strike a match and bring it to the kindling, covering the light with your hands. It is advisable to have time to set it on fire in several places. If there are few matches, they can be split in half lengthwise, but then striking such a match must be careful not to break it. Instead of matches, you can use a lighter to light a fire in the same way. If there are matches, but there is no box, then you can light them by striking them against the glass.
Step 3
To create fire in the forest, you can use a lens by directing the sun's rays onto dry paper, moss, or pine needles. As soon as they start to smolder and smoke appears, fan it slightly without removing the focused beam. The fire from the lens will ignite faster if the kindling material is dark in color. If there is no special lens, remove it from the camera, binoculars, or telescope.
Step 4
Use a hunting cartridge to start a fire. Remove the bullet or shot from the sleeve, pour half of the powder, instead of the bullet, plug the sleeve with a piece of dry cloth. Load your gun with this cartridge and shoot into the ground. A smoldering piece of cloth will fly out of the trunk, and use it to set fire to the material prepared in advance for kindling.
Step 5
You can make a fire with a battery. Attach two wires to its terminals and short them over the prepared kindle, doused with gasoline. You can use cloth, paper, dry grass as kindling.
Step 6
If you have nothing at all at hand, carve a fire from the flint, which is often lying under your feet. Hit it with a metal object, fittings, directing sparks to the ignition material. In this case, fluff cotton wool, poplar fluff or dandelion fluff are best suited for kindling.
