A gas canister is the most effective means of self-defense. In order to be able to use them easily and without hindrance in dangerous situations, the can should be effective, simple and convenient to use.

Instructions

Step 1

Pay attention to which irritant is used in the can. It can be tear gas CR and SC, which cause a burning sensation in the nasopharynx and lacrimation, as well as the substances oleoresin capsicum (OC) and pelargonic acid morpholide (MIC), which act on the eyes, causing throat cramps and coughing. OS is an extract of hot pepper, IPC is its synthetic analogue. It is believed that the latter is somewhat weaker than the natural extract. Pepper remedies are more effective and act on people in a state of drug and alcohol intoxication, as well as on dogs.

Step 2

The can can be jet or aerosol. The latter sprays the substance, creating a kind of haze between the attacker and the defender. And getting in the face with a spray is easier than with a jet. However, the aerosol is quickly dispersed by the wind, which significantly limits the possibilities of using the substance. The distance for hitting is also less, and in a confined space, an aerosol can will damage not only the attacker, but also the one who used it. Jet balloons require a precise hit on the opponent's face in the eye area. They can be used in confined spaces such as an elevator.

Step 3

Cylinders are available in volumes of 100, 80, 65 and 25 ml. The relationship between spraying time and spray power is directly proportional to the size of the container. It is worth noting that in the Russian Federation the amount of active substance in a bottle is limited. Acceptable at 1000 mg for OS and MIC, 20 mg for CR, and 150 mg for CS. Cylinders with a volume of 100 and 25 ml, for example, contain the same 20 mg of CR. Accordingly, the smaller the volume, the higher the concentration of the active drug in the cartridge.

Step 4

Since the composition contained in the cylinders is not universal, and tear drugs are weaker than pepper ones, and CR and CS do not have an effect on drug addicts, drunken or dogs, the idea was to produce cans with a combination of substances, for example, CS and IPC. These combinations are more effective than the same substances used alone.

Step 5

When choosing the size of the spray can, keep in mind that the small one is more convenient to carry in your pocket, purse or in the palm of your hand. The big advantages are long range, spray time and spray width.
