Instructions

Step 1

There are various ways to obtain oil, one of which is the cold method. For the production of edible oil, ripe flax seeds are used that do not have unpleasant foreign odors. The process of cleaning the product from extraneous contamination is in progress. This work is performed by special seed cleaning machines.

Step 2

The next cooking phase is freezing. Flax seeds are cooled to -15₀С. Freezing lasts from 24 to 48 hours.

Step 3

It is very important to bring raw materials to the required moisture content, it should be 8-9%. This indicator plays a role at the time of the release of oil from the raw material, during pressing. Lower moisture content will reduce oil yield. With an increase in humidity, the resulting product will receive a poor presentation and will be poorly stored.

Step 4

Next, flax seeds are fed through the auger into the press. Here the oil is squeezed out at a temperature of 40-45₀С. Temperature conditions create high loads on the working parts of the press. During oil extraction, manufacturers try to keep the upper temperature bar, otherwise irreversible oxidative processes will occur in the product.

Step 5

The product is stabilized and at the same time enriched at the outlet with the help of vitamin E. It is introduced strictly according to the calculated calculation, i.e. 50 ml of vitamin E intervenes in 100 grams of oil. At this stage, the production of flaxseed oil does not end, then it is defended in containers.

Step 6

For a day, and sometimes three, there is a separation of sludge. Subsequently, the sludge (fuz) is drained, and the oil is fed to filtration. Fine filters perform this function. The oil is freed from suspended particles by passing through a layer of perlite, which, in turn, is washed onto the drum.

Step 7

In order for the cleaning to be carried out fully, the passage of suspended particles was not allowed, and the oil at the outlet was transparent, control devices were installed. The finished oil, enriched and pure, enters the accumulator, then into the filling container.

Step 8

Flaxseed oil is bottled in glass containers or polyethylene terephthalate bottles. They are necessarily made in a dark color and are tightly closed with screw caps. Thus, it is possible to save oil for up to a year, avoiding high temperatures and air access.

Step 9

The presented method of oil production makes it possible to obtain a product with increased dietary and medicinal properties, with well-balanced components. Also, increase the shelf life.
