Capricious roses require careful care and protection from a variety of climatic influences, they need a certain humidity, temperature, and require feeding. The situation is somewhat easier if they are grown in a greenhouse.

Necessary

  • - seedlings;
  • - greenhouse;
  • - polycarbonate (for self-production of a greenhouse);
  • - secateurs.

Instructions

Step 1

Grow roses in a greenhouse from March to the last days of November. In the winter months, this process can also be carried out, but it turns out to be unnecessarily energy-consuming, since the lack of solar radiation and the short duration of the sunny day require additional costs, which makes growing roses quite unprofitable and expensive.

Step 2

Use a polycarbonate greenhouse - this is a new material that has all the qualities that allow you to create an optimal microclimate for roses. It is more durable than traditional materials - film and glass, transmits sunlight, is not subject to combustion. In addition, polycarbonate is able to maintain its properties in a fairly wide temperature range - from -40 to +120 degrees. In order to build a polycarbonate greenhouse, you do not need to build an additional foundation.

Step 3

Plant bushes and oculants as early as January if your greenhouse has heating. In the first year, the seedlings should be arranged tightly, so that there are up to 25-30 plants per square meter. Next year, thin out their number by halving. Pay attention to the lighting: it is quite well known that roses need it in large quantities, but it is important that it is the leaves that confer, and not the soil in which they grow. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of its reliable protection. Do not tear off the leaves unnecessarily, treat with protective agents in time.

Step 4

Make sure to maintain the correct microclimate in the greenhouse. It is necessary that, before the first cut, the daytime temperature is within 22 degrees Celsius, the nighttime - 20. Then these indicators may decrease by 2-3 degrees. In the midst of spring and summer months, an increase in temperature values is permissible, but not more than up to 25-27 degrees during the day. In this case, give the plants a break from the heat and set the temperature to about 15 degrees overnight. To avoid disrupting the process of photosynthesis, adjust the indicators gradually, avoiding sudden changes.

Step 5

Keep an eye on the humidity indicators: they should not exceed 70%. Both lower and higher values promote the development of organisms that can lead to various diseases in your flowers.
