The first gas lighter appeared in Paris in 1947. The usual wick was replaced with a special valve, gasoline - for gas. Cigar lovers were very happy with this innovation, having ceased to feel the acrid smell of gasoline. Refillable gas lighters are good as a gift option and are also convenient to use, but have some refueling features.

gas cartridge for refueling lighters, adapters
Instructions
Step 1
In order to fill a refillable lighter with gas, you must first take care of the safety of this event. Make sure there is no open flame nearby, such as on a gas stove; no incandescent objects such as heating devices with a filament, an electric stove switched on. Never smoke during this time and do not refuel the lighter next to other people who smoke at this moment.
Step 2
An excellent refueling method is as follows: when the lighter has completely stopped emitting flame, open the exhaust valve to the maximum, hold it down for 3-5 minutes, while simultaneously pressing the inlet valve with the writing end of a ballpoint pen. The remaining gas would have come out earlier, but not completely - heating the lighter in your hand gives the best result. Screw the inlet valve back on as far as possible and let the lighter cool for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
While the lighter cools down to room temperature, hold the canister in your hands for the same purpose. Usually, a set of six adapters is sold with a cylinder, one of which is matched to the lighter valve empirically: it fits snugly into the valve receiver and does not let gas out. Slide a suitable adapter onto the can fitting and shake vigorously several times.
Step 4
Take the lighter up the intake valve; check if the gas supply button is pressed; If there is no cap, insert the cartridge adapter into the refill slot from above. For 10-15 seconds, press with the upper hand two or three times, without pulling the adapter out of the valve to the end. Repeat this operation several more times.
Step 5
Then leave the lighter for a few minutes until the gas heats up. After that, open the gas supply harder, light the fire for a few seconds (be careful - the flame will turn out to be high) - this action will blow through the nozzle from carbon deposits. Reduce the gas supply to a safer one. The lighter can now be used.
