In the Moscow metro, not only each station is made according to an individual project, but some trains were lucky enough to get their own names and different external and internal design from their counterparts. This summer, there are eight such "nominal" trains running on the Moscow subway.
Most often, Moscow metro trains are given their own names in memory of people who have left a noticeable mark in the history of the country - for example, "Molodogvardeets" or "People's Militia". Another reason for the individual design of the squad is the onset of a significant date. This category contains the largest number of trains dedicated to events in the history of Russian railway transport in general and the metropolitan subway in particular - "Moscow Metro in honor of its 60th anniversary", "Red arrow - 75 years", "Moscow metro is 70 years old". This category was supplemented by one more nominal composition, which began to run near the metropolis on August 1, 2012.
The new electric train of five cars was named "175 years of Russian railways". Its cars do not have any design features, but outwardly they stand out for their color - they are pasted over with a film of red and gray colors, branded shades of the Russian Railways company. And inside the carriages there is a historical exposition - posters with archival photographs, documents and drawings showing the development of railway transport in the country are pasted on the walls. The exposition presents both the latest developments of railway workers and futuristic sketches about the prospects for the development of rail transport in Russia.
The release of one more nominal train to the line was timed to coincide with the Day of the Railwayman - on August 1, the train traveled on a short section between the Vystavochnaya and Mezhdunarodnaya stations of the new branch of the Filevskaya line. The electric train "175 years of Russian railways" does not have any special timetable; from the next day it began to run regularly according to the usual schedule of the Moscow metro ring line.
