You did your own manicure, and when you applied varnish, one drop got on your clothes. What to do? Don't worry, there is a fairly simple way to remove nail polish from clothes. True, this process will take a couple of hours of your time.
Necessary
- - acetone or nail polish remover;
- - gasoline;
- - glycerin;
- - washing powder;
- - an old terry towel;
- - paper napkins;
- - gloves.
Instructions
Step 1
The most important rule is that if varnish gets on your clothes, try to remove it immediately. Otherwise, it will take much longer with the dried one.
Step 2
To begin with, gently blot with a cotton swab the rest of the drop, which has not yet been absorbed. Then carefully remove the soiled item from yourself.
Step 3
After changing clothes, prepare an old terry towel or soft cotton cloth. Fold them up several times. Lay a layer of plain paper napkins on top.
Step 4
Carefully turn the stained item inside out and place it with the right side of the stain on a layer of napkins.
Step 5
Take your nail polish remover, which you previously removed the old polish with, and gently drip it onto the wrong side of the stain with a dropper. At the same time, make sure that the formed colored liquid drains onto the napkins. Do this slowly and carefully until you see the stain is almost gone.
Step 6
Then take the remaining liquid or acetone, pour on the remaining stains and rub the thing thoroughly with your hands. It is better to perform this procedure with gloves that come with the hair dye kit. You can also finally rub the remaining stain with a sponge dipped in gasoline. If there are traces of metal powder, wipe them with glycerin.
Step 7
Then make a soapy solution of warm water and powder and wash your clothes thoroughly. If you have a delicate item, then use a detergent for delicate fabrics. Rinse well several times to remove acetone odor.
Step 8
Hang to dry outdoors or in a ventilated area.
Step 9
Please note that the stain must first be removed and only then washed. Otherwise, if you immediately wash the item in hot water, without first cleaning it with nail polish remover, it will no longer be possible to remove the stain. Do not use this liquid to remove nail polish on acetate and fluorescent fabrics, as acetone will simply corrode your item. Perform this entire procedure with an open window or balcony. After finishing work, ventilate the area well.
