Gladioli are beautiful and elegant flowers. There are more than 300 varieties of gladioli in a wide variety of colors and shades: from white to rich red, as well as black and even green gladioli. Many of them grow up to 70-100 cm in height.
Necessary
- - 1 tablet of crushed aspirin;
- - 0.5 g of potassium permanganate (potassium permanganate);
- - 0.4 g of citric acid;
- - 1 tablespoon of vinegar;
- - 2-3 drops of ammonia or camphor alcohol;
- - 1 teaspoon of boric acid or table salt;
- - 15-20 g of sugar or glucose;
- - 1 tablet of activated carbon.
Instructions
Step 1
Since gladioli are tall enough flowers, it is important to find the right vase for them. It should be fairly tall, large and sturdy.
Step 2
Use your fingers to pinch any weak shoots at the base of each stem.
Step 3
Remove any excess foliage from the flower stems to avoid decay and odor from water.
Step 4
Take a few stalks of Monstera and cut them to 25 cm. You will need Monstera as a decorative element to decorate a vase.
Step 5
Add 1 tsp. bleach in a vase of cold fresh water.
Step 6
Cut the stems of gladioli just enough so that when they are immersed in water, the vase contains 1/2 of the entire length of the flowers. Always cut the stems at an angle for maximum water absorption.
Step 7
Spread gladioli and monstera evenly in the vase. Check that the height of the flowers is the same.
Step 8
Several gladioli can be cut short and arranged in a circle on the outside of the bouquet to create a lush bloom effect.
Step 9
To prolong the flowering of cut gladioli, the following substances can also be added to the water (proportions are indicated per 1 liter):
