Sometimes the victims are in serious condition and cannot tell their relatives and friends about themselves. Then loved ones have to independently learn about the fate of a loved one.

Step 1
To find out about the victim, call the operational headquarters located at the scene. Information about the incident must be sent to the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (MES). Information phone of the department: +7 (495) 626-39-01. Unified helpline: +7 (495) 449-99-99. By calling these numbers, you can clarify the details of the event, as well as find out the names of the victims in it. In addition, you will receive information about the hospitals to which people were sent from the scene.
Step 2
If a person is injured in an accident, you can get information about his condition and location by calling the information phone of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD). Each region has its own. You can find out what you need on the portal of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia https://www.gibdd.ru. To do this, find the inscription STSI in the upper left corner on the main page of the portal. Click on it to get to the subsections. Select "structure of the traffic police". Step 3
When nothing is known about a person, search for him with the help of the police. An application to search for the missing person, if he is over 18 years old, will be accepted after three days of absence. If a child is lost, they will start looking for him immediately. To compose your ad, bring a photo to the police and describe any special features. Tell us when and where he was last seen. Guidelines with descriptions will be sent to all regional offices. When something becomes known, the police will contact you.
Step 4
Also, call hospitals and morgues. If the victim did not have documents, he will have to go to the identification. Ask relatives and friends to help you.
