Step 1
Based on the activity of your movements around the city in the subway, determine the approximate number of trips in any period. If you take the metro frequently, it is more advisable to purchase a travel card that is not limited to the number of trips. If you rarely travel by this type of transport, it is preferable to buy tickets for the number of trips that you plan during this period.
Step 2
Contact the nearest metro ticket office and buy a pass based on an analysis of your needs for using this type of transport. Metro ticket offices can be found in the lobbies at the station entrance. Purchase a travel ticket or tokens.
Step 3
If you are applying for a reduced fare on public transport, when buying a pass at the ticket office, present a document confirming the right to benefits.
Step 4
Find a terminal that sells metro passes. Depending on the device of the terminal and following the instructions, make the payment for the pass, having previously selected the period or number of trips you need. Wait until the transaction is processed and collect your ticket.
Step 5
If you use a plastic magnetic card, present it for replenishment at the metro ticket office along with the required amount, announce to the cashier the fare or the number of trips for which you want to replenish the card. Wait for the operation and get a refilled travel card.
Step 6
To replenish the travel card in the payment terminal, following the instructions, place the magnetic card in the desired place, select the card recharge plan, make the payment, wait for the completion of the replenishment operation and receive the replenished magnetic travel card.
