Singers are people in whose profession the voice plays a key role. The ability to beautifully "play" with your own timbre, as if vibrating with it, gives live singing even more charm. How to increase the range of a voice, acquire the ability to easily and naturally change its sound?
Instructions
Step 1
The range of a professional singer should be more than two octaves. The question of whether to expand the range towards the upper or lower case must be decided on an individual basis, based on the capabilities of the voice. The simplest exercise to help expand the boundaries of your vocal range is reading aloud. It improves diction and, moreover, reading with different intonations allows you to better understand the mobility of your own voice. Reading aloud for at least one hour a day will help you in your struggle to expand your voice range.
Step 2
One of the controversial ways to expand the range towards the upper register of the voice is the so-called forcing. This is singing on the top notes of your own vocal capabilities. However, there is a danger of automatically jumping over to the falsetto by inertia. Naturally, higher notes require a higher voice, which creates the risk of voice stalling for the same reason. Involuntary transitions to falsetto can make further singing in the upper register loud, shrill, which, of course, is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Therefore - take care of your voice!
Step 3
It will help to perform a special set of breathing exercises to increase the range of the voice. They help strengthen the diaphragm as a nice bonus. A vocal teacher will help you choose the right complex for you.
Step 4
Try reciting your favorite verses out loud using the different “grades” of your own voice range. This exercise is called the Ladder. Choose any poem you like and read aloud, gradually changing the range from lower case to upper possible on each line. Exercise will also help you intelligently space the levels of your vocal range.
