Step 1
After eating, the denture should be removed, and the mouth should be rinsed with either water or a special mouthwash. The denture should be thoroughly rinsed under running water. Use soap to cleanse. Never use solvents or other active substances for cleaning - you will ruin the product, you will have to order it again, and this is long and not too cheap.
Step 2
To keep your dentures long-lasting, regularly use daily care products that contain active oxygen. This will help cleanse the denture, eliminate odor, and maintain good hygiene. You should clean the denture from food debris using a soft toothbrush, put a cleaner tablet in a glass of warm water and lower the denture there for fifteen to twenty minutes. After that, it is necessary to thoroughly rinse the prosthesis using clean running water.
Step 3
Before going to bed, it is better to remove the dentures - the gums need rest. It is necessary to remove the prosthesis, wrap it in a clean handkerchief or cloth and put it in a specially designated box (plastic or cardboard). You can put it in a container with a special storage solution recommended by your dentist.
Step 4
If you have just made dentures, then at first store them in clean, preferably boiled, water. The liquid must be changed daily so that harmful microorganisms do not appear in it. After one to two months, you can use a ready-made storage solution, which you can buy at a pharmacy, instead of water.
