In the practice of aromatherapy, it is very important to use 100% natural essential oil, since only a pure substance can be called safe. The use of synthetic elements even for aromatizing a room can sometimes cause negative manifestations, for example, allergies.
Instructions
Step 1
A drop of oil falling on a cloth or a sheet of paper after evaporation often leaves a colored speck, especially for rose, blue chamomile and jasmine oil. A sign of a natural product is the absence of a greasy sheen at the place of the evaporated drop. Note that the process of evaporation of natural oil, depending on which plant it is made from, takes up to several hours or even days.
Step 2
A good aroma has a clean aroma. So tangerine smells like tangerine, and mint smells like mint. In this case, the smell should be soft, not harsh. Natural oils, unlike synthetic ones, are not characterized by sharp drops, aggressive shades and notes of technical impurities. Such a product must not be used.
Step 3
Quality oil isn't too cheap. You need to understand that a complex production process requires considerable costs, and the volume of products is not that great.
Step 4
All incense must be certified. Ask for a copy of the certificate for review. The word "reconstituted" indicates that this is a synthetic fragrance. Remember that the effect of the original is fundamentally different from the effect of the synthetic product. For example, natural vanilla aroma helps to overcome sugar cravings and reduces appetite, while artificial vanilla helps to increase appetite.
Step 5
The bottle in which the oil is sold must be made of dark glass: blue or brown. Manufacturers know for certain that essential oils are highly sensitive to light. It also takes into account such a property of oils as the ability to gradually evaporate in the open air. Therefore, bottles for natural oils, in addition to a tightly ground cork, are equipped with a fixing tape, like a medicine, and a dispenser.
Step 6
Read the label carefully. Make sure the product is annotated and barcoded. The volume of the substance in the vial and the batch number must be indicated. The label of the purified oil, ready for medical use, bears this indication: "absolute 100 percent essential oil." If the oil is diluted, the annotation should indicate the name of the carrier oil and the percentage of essential and fatty components.
