Step 1
The main reason for swarming is the excessive number of bees that are not busy with work. Swarming takes place in the spring, and at this time the main load for the bees is considered to be the construction of the nest and the care of the brood. To prevent swarming in the springtime when the bees leave their frames, expand their nests. If the bees are on an incomplete nest or in sunbeds, then it is worth substituting additional frames. Well, if the bees have begun to whiten the combs, place a foundation between the outermost frame of the brood and the feed frame.

As soon as the bees occupy the entire body of the nest, you can start putting shops on them. If the family overwintered on a full nest of the hive, then in addition to the store stands, it must be loosened and several frames with a sealed brood taken out. Brood can be given to poorly overwintered bee colonies. To do this, shake all the bees off the frame and place it in a weak colony. It is important to make sure that a weak family is able to warm up the frame given to it.
Step 3
Never tighten with socket expansion. As soon as you notice that the bees have mastered the frame given to them, immediately provide them with the next one.

Also, in order to prevent swarming of bees, it is necessary to start creating layers when queens appear. Lay off only from fast-growing and well-wintered families. The rest of the colony can be weakened by transferring the printed brood to them.

To prevent swarming, try not to use queens from swarming colonies to create layers. The easiest way to get queens is to cut one of the colonies in early spring. At the same time, pick up the family that swarms a little.

In hives located in the sun, bees cannot maintain the required temperature, and therefore some of them leave the combs, gather on the wall of the hive or under the arrival board. Such bees' wearying contributes to the emergence of the swarm instinct. To prevent overheating of the hives and to avoid swarming, place the hives near shrubs and trees.
