Materials for the manufacture of such paint can be bought at any hardware store or use the services of an online store, where aluminum powder, nitro varnish and drying oil are also quite regular.

Instructions
Step 1
Aluminum powder is sold in different packages, so you need to estimate the quantity first. Calculate how much drying oil or varnish you need to cover a particular surface, and then calculate the amount of aluminum powder. The proportions of ingredients largely depend on the desired consistency, but the average ratio is about 1 glass of aluminum powder per 1 kg of drying oil.
Step 2
Powder can be any, but it is better to dilute the one that is finer. So PAP-2 in this sense is preferable to PAP-1. Most often, it is from it that silver is made in industrial conditions.
Step 3
Choose the brand of drying oil or varnish depending on where exactly the surface you are going to paint is located. Usually it is written on the label which surfaces can be coated with linseed oil of this type. For painting external surfaces, synthetic linseed oil, bituminous varnish or nitro varnish are preferable, since they are more resistant to the vagaries of the weather. Any drying oil is suitable for internal surfaces. Keep in mind that the varnish dries much faster. For urgent work, nitro lacquer is most suitable.
Step 4
Pour the drying oil or varnish into the vessel in which you will dilute the paint. Add a small amount of aluminum powder and stir until smooth. Repeat the procedure. Pour in the powder gradually, in small portions, otherwise it will be inconvenient to interfere. As a result, you should have a homogeneous silvery mass without accumulations of powder. That is why the one with a finer fraction is preferable.
Step 5
Before covering the entire surface, try to determine how long the paint will take to dry. Make a small amount of silver and cover the piece of material you are going to paint with it. Place it in the conditions in which the product will be located. If the paint takes too long to dry, consider changing the base.
