Roller skating is a very interesting and exciting activity. It allows you not only to have fun in your free time, but also to strengthen many of the muscles in the body. The most important step is choosing inline skates. This procedure is not as simple as it seems at first glance.
Necessary
- - catalog of roller skates;
- - money.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide how much you are willing to spend on the purchase of roller skates. The more money you spend, the better the model you can pick up. Usually there is a direct relationship between the quality of roller skates and their cost. But this does not mean that having bought expensive rollers, you will be able to skate perfectly. If you are a beginner, then it is not worth spending a significant amount on buying professional skates. For a start, you can completely get by with the budget option. This will be more correct, because during the first experience of skiing, you will fall more than once. This will lead to the fact that sooner or later your first videos will become unusable.
Step 2
Pay attention to the boots of the roller skates you buy. They are usually of two types - hard and soft. The hard boot is the most common. It is a plastic construction into which a soft boot of the required size is inserted. The advantages are a fairly high level of durability and good ventilation. Also, the inner soft boot is easy to wash. Some models allow for short walking in soft boots. This innovation will save you the need to carry a spare pair of shoes with you to change clothes in areas where roller skating is prohibited. The disadvantages include the rigidity of the structure. In some cases, the leg may feel discomfort when rolling.
Step 3
Rollers with a soft boot have a non-removable boot, that is, the frame is attached directly to the body of a boot made of leather, its substitutes or other durable material. The side support is made of plastic or metal alloy. The advantages include the low weight of the boot, as well as the convenience of fastening, because the soft boot clearly fits the contour of the leg. The disadvantages include the difficulty of washing. These rollers are almost impossible to completely wash.
Step 4
Ask the store for availability of inline skates with removable frames. On such models, you can dismantle the frame with wheels. This allows you to walk in rollers just like in regular boots. This feature is very convenient as you can always turn your skates into regular shoes. This will come in handy where it is impossible to move on rollers, for example, on loose soil or gravel.
Step 5
Decide what type of casters will be on your casters. There are plastic, rubber and gel casters. The former are the cheapest. During operation, they can chip and crumble. Also, plastic wheels make a very loud noise when driving. Rubber wheels are the "golden mean". They are more expensive, but very practical to use. Gel rollers are the most ideal choice: they are almost silent while driving. The grip of these wheels is maximal. They are good if you have some inline skating skills.
