Belching is a way of ridding the body of air that a person swallows when eating. In most cases, it is considered indecent, but there are countries where burping is a sign of respect for the cook who prepared the food. Everyone can forcibly learn to burp.
Eating
To make a big burp, your stomach needs to contain air, you need to make it work as hard as possible. A good way to do this is to just eat. The usual meal, as a rule, does not lead to any noticeable belching. To get air into your stomach, you must eat as quickly as possible. Drink as much lemonade, beer, and other fizzy drinks as possible. Their consumption leads to the appearance of carbon dioxide in the stomach, which is necessary for belching.
To make the process of swallowing gas more efficient, drink drinks through a straw. Drinking a drink in one go is also a good way to get a lot of gas. The more varied you eat, the more powerful the combination of gases will form in your stomach. Your burp will then be at its maximum. Experiment with different foods.
Air from the lungs
Air can be taken from the lungs to fill the stomach, but it is not necessary to eat. This method is somewhat more complicated than the previous one, but you can use it anywhere, anytime. Take a regular, shallow breath. Plug your nostrils and close your mouth. Then exhale some air into your mouth and start swallowing it with saliva as you do with food. It is important not to allow air from the external environment to enter the mouth, this will only interfere with the process. Continue this procedure until you feel air in your abdomen and burp approaching.
Body position
To keep gas from escaping from your stomach, try to stay upright (standing or sitting) at all times. Thus, all the gas collected in the stomach will be in the upper part of it. To increase gas production, move more, try walking or jumping in place. If you have consumed carbonated drinks before, the same process will occur in your stomach as when shaking a bottle of lemonade. Be careful, too vigorous movement with a full stomach can lead to nausea.
Belching
When you feel the approach of burping, move your head back a little. Open your mouth to make the sound of belching as loud and harsh as possible. As soon as you feel the air start to come out, tighten your abdominal muscles. The purpose of this action is to squeeze your stomach so that the air comes out as quickly and loudly as possible. If you want to burp for a long time, do not press too hard on your stomach. A diaphragm can also be used to control this process. It takes some practice and a little time to learn to burp properly.
