After the end of the season, ski boots are removed for long-term storage. If you do everything right, they will serve you faithfully for a long time. Otherwise, in the next season you run the risk of facing the unpleasant consequences of a negligent attitude: defects will appear on the shoes, and they will begin to rub your feet. How do you store them?
Necessary
- - case;
- - suitable storage space.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a mild soapy solution. To do this, it is enough to “wash” 2-3 liters of warm water at 35-40 ° C in a basin for 30 seconds. Instead of soap, you can successfully use a small amount of environmentally friendly self-degradable detergent such as Amway LOC and others with similar properties. Do not use synthetic detergents as they can damage your boots.
Step 2
Remove the inner liners from the ski boots. Hand wash them gently in the prepared solution. Avoid strong impact on them: do not wrinkle, do not twist, etc. After washing, rinse thoroughly in running water or in clean water poured into a basin, changing it several times.
Step 3
Dry the inner liners at room temperature, avoiding close proximity to heaters. Moreover, in no case put them on the pipe. When exposed to strong heat, they "forget" the shape of your leg, and the next time you use it, you are guaranteed discomfort.
Step 4
Wipe the shoes with a cloth dampened with soapy water, inside and out. Then repeat the procedure with a cloth soaked in clean water. Finally, wipe the boots with a dry cloth.
Step 5
Examine the shoes carefully for any defects that have appeared. If such are found, contact the repair shop in a timely manner.
Step 6
After the inner liners are dry, insert them into the boots, stuff them lightly with newspaper or special paper and zip them up. Place in an opaque woven pouch and store away. It is advisable that during the "summer vacation" ski boots are not exposed to strong temperature effects and are protected from direct sunlight.
