It happens like this: excellent weather, you came to the shore first, there were already bites, there is something in the cage, and suddenly … With the next casting, the spinning rod gives out such a "beard", and even with other fishermen! It's a shame, isn't it? And the problem lay in the wrong winding of the braid.

A drill, a stern thread or a piece of old braid, scotch tape, a steelyard
Instructions
Step 1
The first winding of the braided cord on the spool of the spool should be done as follows: glue the end of the braid with a small piece of tape to the spool. The friction of the spool must be adjusted with the steerer to about 10% of the maximum load for the given line. In order to remember the effort with which to pull the braid during winding, clamp it between the fingers of your left hand with such force that the friction clutch only slightly and abruptly triggered at the beginning of winding.
Also, the spool should not be allowed to spin empty. This can happen if the cord slips out from under the tape, or the latter is completely peeled off, but it is not worth tying the line to the reel at this stage, the reason will be clear during the following operations.
Step 2
When all the cord is wrapped, you will most likely need to add backing to get the fill level on the spool. To do this, use an old cord or rough thread of the same diameter as the main braid. Having linked them together, wind up the required amount of backing.
Step 3
Insert any axis with an empty reel fixed on it into the drill chuck, fix the end of the backing on it with a piece of adhesive tape, wind the entire cord from the reel. Attach the next empty bobbin to the drill, do the same. The drill should run at minimum speed on both rewinds.
It is impossible to miss the moment of the end of the braid, because it is fixed only with scotch tape to avoid breaking the line. Hold the cord in your fingers, about a meter from the reel to be unwound, to catch it before it begins to fly off the reel being filled in rings, releasing tension.
Step 4
Now the backing is again on top of the entire winding, tie the end with a special knot to the spool of the reel. Do not forget to run it through all the rings of the spinning rod, raise the bow of the line stacker. Wind the cord around the spool with the same force as described in step # 1, avoiding frequent clutch crackling.
