When writing off balances from the warehouse, the most acceptable method is “at the cost of each unit”. This means that the item being sold must be written off at the cost at which it was purchased. Although some entrepreneurs establish a suitable method of writing off goods in accounting policies.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to write off the leftovers, select the warehouse from which you will write off the goods from the list that opens. Specify the date of debiting. Check the box "Recommend", which is located under the line "Unit price". In the future, when writing off the goods, the recommended selling price will be indicated automatically. And also you need to set the price gradation in the warehouse directory.
Step 2
If you specified the wrong warehouse or did not turn on the gradation, the program recommends the "entry" price at which the goods are in the warehouse.
Step 3
Select an item / material from the list of materials in stock for shipment to be discarded. You can also enter the name of the desired product in the search bar.
Step 4
Specify the quantity of the item to be written off and the cost of the write-off per unit. Left-click on the "Select agreement" button, then you will not have to search and enter it manually. Click the "Open directory of accounting accounts" button to specify the account number, without which the item cannot be posted.
Step 5
Next, click on the "Add a new entry to the list" button to add information to the "Portfolio", that is, to the list of goods that are prepared for shipment from the warehouse.
Step 6
After this action, the "Portfolio" is automatically removed from the top list so that you do not add the same product by mistake. And the specified goods will be reflected in the list again, but with the already counted quantity. You will see a message about adding data to the database and click "OK".
Step 7
Next, you need to write them off from the warehouse. Then left-click "Confirmation of dispatch of the selected item from the warehouse". A message will open to confirm the operation, and click "OK". Another notification message will open indicating that the selected item was successfully shipped from the warehouse. Click OK again.
