Instructions

Step 1

Pay attention to the different watering regimes required for early vegetable crops during the growing season. Beets and carrots require good watering the moment the roots begin to pour. Water the cabbage abundantly during the period of setting the head of cabbage. Potatoes mostly need water at the time of flowering. Onions and garlic, on the contrary, prefer to grow in dry soil (in case of prolonged rains, cover with foil to avoid decay and damage to the heads).

Step 2

It should be noted that vegetables should be watered in the early morning or evening when the sun begins to set. The water should be saturated with oxygen, warm, settled in containers (in no case water with cold water, the plants will get stressed and slow down in growth). Calculate the amount of moisture for irrigation, the water should saturate the soil to a depth of fifteen to twenty centimeters.

Step 3

The potato yield depends entirely on the correct preparation of the seed material. Sort the tubers thoroughly, remove damaged, cracked and rotten tubers. Carefully wash and dry the selected potatoes, pour into a cool dry place, there the tubers will sprout. In the fall, prepare a place for planting potatoes, the best predecessors are cucumbers, cabbage, beets or carrots. Take humus of chicken manure and sprinkle it on the allocated place (at the rate of two to three kilograms per square meter). In early May, you can plant vegetables. Do not forget to periodically huddle, loosen the ground and water abundantly.

Step 4

To grow a good harvest of tomatoes, eggplant, cucumbers and bell peppers, feed them two to three times a month with a mullein solution, to which you should first add wood ash (one hundred grams of ash per bucket of mullein). At the very beginning of fruiting, these vegetables require abundant watering. With insufficient moisture, vegetables can shed ovaries and buds.

Step 5

It is impossible to get a rich harvest of pumpkin without the correct and high-quality formation of lashes. When the first ovaries appear, leave only three or four fruits, and cut off the side lashes. Pinch the fruiting shoots, leave only a few leaves after the ovary. It is during this period that the pumpkin needs abundant watering and feeding.
