So that memory does not fail, it must be trained like muscles. After all, when you stop regularly working on the body, it becomes flabby over time. Roughly the same thing happens with memory: if you stop training for a long time, it weakens.
Instructions
Step 1
Learning poems helps to improve memory. This method is considered one of the most effective. Make it a rule to memorize 1-2 quatrains every day. It can be poems by different authors from your favorite collection of lyrics, or one big poem. If you are inclined to the second option, open "Eugene Onegin". This novel in verse is easy to memorize, so you can memorize it at once, one "Onegin stanza" per day (14 lines). Within a week, you will be convinced that you can easily quote the famous classic.
Step 2
Can't remember where your socks, keys or mobile phone are? Try this exercise regularly: close your eyes and try to remember the location of objects on your work or kitchen table. A dressing table or a shelf in a closet will also work. Then open your eyes and consider whatever you missed. If there are few objects, 10-15 pieces, it is better to depict their location not in memory, but on paper.
Step 3
Try to remember how your day was. Every day you will remember many more details than you might think at first glance. After a while, you can easily reproduce small dialogues, locations of objects, faces of random people, etc.
Step 4
To memorize complex words, break them into parts and connect an associative array. For example, you need to remember the name of one of the plant families - flagellaria. For effective memorization, break the word into 2-3 conventional parts, each of which will be associated with an object or image. In this case, 3 parts can be distinguished: "flag", "gel", "chest". Fix the chain of these images in your memory, and then you can keep the whole word in your memory.
Step 5
Consume foods containing iodine, zinc, B vitamins and vitamin E. Rice, legumes, fatty fish, wheat bread, nuts, berries, pumpkin seeds are considered useful for improving memory.
