Drawing is one of the most important disciplines in technical and engineering specialties, since it is the correctness and accuracy of the drawings of various parts that determines how correctly they will be made in reality. Among the most simple drawings, one can single out the drawing of nuts and bolts - such drawings are often used as training drawings. For the greatest accuracy when drawing the hex head of the bolt, use the dimensions according to GOST.

Instructions

Step 1

To draw the head of the bolt, you need some data - the size of the bolt to the wrench and the outer diameter of the head of the bolt. In order for the finished drawing to fully correspond to the measurements of the turnkey bolt head in accordance with GOST, begin to carry out the drawing - first, draw two axes of the same length perpendicular to each other. The angle between the axes must be 90 degrees.

Step 2

Through the central point of intersection of the axes, draw two intersecting diagonals in the center. The angle between each diagonal and the horizontal axis must be 30 degrees. Accordingly, the angle between the diagonals should be 60 degrees.

Step 3

Draw vertical lines parallel to the vertical axis to the right and left of it. To determine the distance from the central vertical to each of the straight lines, divide by two the size of the wrench bolt head.

Step 4

Mark the points of the bolt head faces at the intersection of the straight lines with the diagonals on the right and left. Set the distance between the opposite corners of the marked points along the vertical, marking it with the letter U. As a result, you should have six points in the drawing, equidistant from the center of the axes.

Step 5

Using a ruler and pencil, connect all the points together. You have received a smooth and neat hex head of the bolt, corresponding to the turnkey size in accordance with GOST. Verify that all measurements have been carried out correctly by re-measuring the finished drawing and checking the results against the data specified in the original requirements.
