Step 1
First, register your organization with the tax office. Get an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE) or, if you are organizing a business without forming a legal entity, an extract from the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (USRIP). Three working days after registration, you will have the opportunity to apply for a newsletter.
Step 2
Prepare the required documents. Remove a photocopy from the extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. This copy need not be certified. If the letter is received not by the manager himself, but by another person, then a notarized power of attorney must be drawn up for him.
Step 3
For joint stock companies of an open or closed type, it is also necessary to provide an extract from the organizational documentation containing information about shareholders and information on the size and distribution of the authorized capital of the organization. For non-profit organizations and branches of foreign companies, additional documents may be required, information on which can be obtained from the regional office of Statregister.
Step 4
Come to the Statregister branch at the place of company registration. Its address can be found on the website of the Statregister. For example, the central Moscow Statregister is located at 33 Kirpichnaya Street. Call the organization in advance, specify its opening hours and sign up for a letter. If you are a self-employed person, you can apply without an appointment.
Step 5
At the first visit, submit all documents and write an application for the issuance of an information letter in the form provided to you by an employee of Statregister. After that, wait until you are informed about the readiness of the letter. Then come to the second visit in person and with your passport and receive an information letter about registration in Statregister.
