The scariest inhabitants of the underwater world
The Sabretooth fish, or as it is also called by some peoples, the man-eating fish, although it has a length of only 15 cm, despite its size, it looks extremely frightening. This fish is found in the tropical waters of the oceans at a depth of 700 m. It has a thick skin covered with hard scales. Her mouth is equipped with four front teeth, long and razor-sharp, with which she cracks down on her victims. In the upper lip of the saber-toothed there are channels into which the lower teeth of the fish enter as if in a sheath.
The sea wasp is a jellyfish found off the coast of Northern Australia. Its body reaches a length of 1.5 m. The bell of the sea wasp has a round shape, 4 outgrowths branch off from it, dividing into several fingers, from which up to 60 tentacles hang down. Each of the tentacles contains a huge number of stinging cells, inside of which is a deadly poison. Having touched the tentacles, a person gets severe burns and feels excruciating pain, after which the body becomes intoxication and death.
The poison of one jellyfish is enough to kill 60 people in just 3 minutes.
Insects and spiders
The Brazilian wandering spider is a creature that lives in Central and South America. Listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most venomous spider on the planet. The spider is only 10 cm long, but when hunting, it sometimes attacks birds and mammals that exceed it in size. Spider venom contains a strong neurotoxin, which gets into the blood of an animal or person, causing convulsions, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, and subsequently suffocation and heart paralysis. The spider's behavior is quite aggressive, because a person who enters its territory will face a terrible result.
The gastric gadfly is an insect whose larvae parasitize inside mammals and humans. Once on the skin, the larva begins to bite into it, then enters the body, where it grows and feeds on flesh. It can penetrate almost any part of the body, even the brain.
Snakes
Anaconda is the largest and most terrible snake of the entire animal kingdom. There is no person in whom she would not instill fear and horror. Its length can reach from 6 to 9 meters. Her entire body consists of powerful muscles, with the help of which she suffocates her victim, wrapping herself around her. In the mouth of the anaconda there are up to 110 teeth, sharp as a needle.
The snake's mouth is so stretchable that it can swallow an animal dozens of times larger than its body.
Mammals
The most terrifying mammal was the vampire bat - a small animal that feeds on blood. Its wingspan is only 0.2 m, nevertheless, it is capable of speeds up to 2.2 m / s. The vampire hunts at night - attacks sleeping animals. With his razor-sharp teeth, he bites through the victim's skin, and injects substances into the blood that prevent blood from clotting. After that, the vampire calmly licks the blood from the victim with a tubular tongue.
These are the scary creatures that inhabit the planet. Some of them have a nondescript appearance and small size, but it's still better not to get in their way.
