Modern electronic components make it possible to build a slot machine with a game similar to Tetris in just half an hour. Having such a device, you can arrange interesting competitions with your family or friends. And regular exercise will help you develop your ability to make quick decisions.
Instructions
Step 1
Historically, the following development is considered the first design of a home-made slot machine with a game similar to Tetris:
www.rickard.gunee.com/projects/video/pic/tetris.php You can still build a device according to this description, but on condition that you can get a PIC16F84 microcontroller. It has been discontinued and therefore today is very scarce, and in those stores where it is still on sale, its price is greatly overestimated
Step 2
The second machine differs from the previous one in that it displays the image not on the TV set, but not on a special electronic-mechanical device for displaying information. You will have to build such a "mechanical monitor" yourself, so the manufacture of such a device will require higher qualifications and will take more time. In addition, its manufacture will require not one, but two microcontrollers of the PIC16F84 type. If these difficulties do not scare you, check out the description of the machine on the next page:
Step 3
The following design is again designed to be connected to a TV, but is capable of producing a color image. Moreover, it does not have a separate encoder for the PAL system, since it uses a special high-speed SX28 microcontroller capable of generating color subcarriers in real time. It is difficult to purchase it separately, but ready-made development boards based on it are widespread. Therefore, the most rational solution would be to assemble the machine on such a board. You can get acquainted with the description of the design at the following address:
Step 4
The developers of the next machine decided to make it black and white, but use only the most common and inexpensive parts in it. It is called Hackvision, and among the games that you can run on it, there is, of course, a Tetris clone. The device uses the widely used ATMEGA328 microcontroller. A description of the design is given on the following website:
