In almost any family there is a broken umbrella, and it is worth noting that most often the fragments of the knitting needles break at the umbrellas. Of course, there are spokes repair shops, but this can and can be done at home. You just need to be patient.
Instructions
Step 1
If any fragment of a knitting needle is broken at the umbrella, then first select a working knitting needle of the same size (otherwise the umbrella will not fold), you can find it either on the same broken umbrella, or buy it at a flea market. If you still could not find a knitting needle, then make a blank from a broken piece of tin. Bend the required profile on the mandrel and make a spoke, closing the hinge nodes with hollow rivets. Now remove the wire rods closing the power polyhedron and tightening the tension power spring. Now open the umbrella and put it with the handle up, press down on the lower frame and loosen the ties (they need to be removed). Also remove the hook from the wire tie on the cage, and then remove the bent end of the wire tie from the spoke.
Step 2
Now install the spare spoke lower brace on the middle tier yoke. Do it like this: lay the open areas with the handle up, unscrew the twist of the wire clip and remove the wire. Next, take a new wire (the length of the workpiece should be 70mm) and insert it in place of the old one. Now put all the braces on it in the right order (replace the brace of the broken spoke with a spare brace).
Step 3
Next, put the slots on the cage in the ends of the struts, and place the wire in the annular groove, the ends of which need to be twisted, cut off the excess with pliers and put it in a separate groove.
Step 4
Install the spare spoke upper brace in the upper tier yoke assembly (the principle of operation is the same as with the middle yoke).
